We are seeking presenters to share their expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion in education at the Powered by Teach to Lead Summit. Our theme for the Summit is “Helping Educators Be on the Right Side of History” and we are seeking skills sessions that will help attendees put theory into practice in the following areas:

Culturally-responsive teaching models and practices

Antiracism education

Equality lens versus equity lens

How to incorporate primary sources in daily instruction?

Develop strategies to combat the systems of oppression

Gain strategies to create safe environments to foster difficult conversations
about race

Learn how to advocate for equitable access and opportunity for all learners

Assess how biases affect the decision-making both in their personal and
professional lives

Create actionable teacher leadership plans
We invite current preservice teachers to submit proposals for the poster session. Posters should be academically sound and visually engaging. Presenters must be available to present their work virtually. Please complete this form, if you are interested in submitting a poster.
